KNNOngQW 0 Posted June 25, 2017 Sharing photos of my 382 patina project! I used seawater, white vinegar and salt. Mixed the vinegar and seawater tgt, and poured it over the unsubmerged timepiece. Next I sprinkled a generous helping of table salt over the watch and sealed it in an airtight container for 4hours.

black263 228 Posted June 25, 2017 Sorry, but that's godawful. There comes a point where patina ends and corrosion starts, and that watch passed the point miles back.

KNNOngQW 0 Posted June 26, 2017 Hi Guys, here you go ! So sorry had some issues with the network yst! During the fume process : https://goo.gl/photos/iGMWqeFmkmdFDH6T8 https://goo.gl/photos/YH84BjJLSfHWDFA76 After the fume : https://goo.gl/photos/3WrwUmzCmtXMAb4W7 https://goo.gl/photos/bZKrEDynQGAzJSdA6 https://goo.gl/photos/dRWzHpX2AcDJzWqe9 https://goo.gl/photos/Z6VRmDpsZXaFCiYK9 Please share your own experiences ! Would love to see them and maybe replicate them myself in future! I realized the green the dark brown patches comes through where the salt landed. Was hoping for more green though. Perhaps one of you may be able to share how we can obtain more green (is it because I placed it in salt for too short a time?)
