kevinisrad 0 Posted January 17, 2017 I'm new here, my interest for watches sparked after seeing my father own a few high end watches. I've got a regmariner on order, and I am beyond stoked to receive it. My father's collection inspired me to turn to here. He owns an older Date-Just, which was passed down to him by his father, and he intends to pass it to me when the time is right. It's about 30 years old, way older than myself. He's recently acquired a black with date submariner, and just before that he had purchased a Cartier Ballon Bleu, I believe is the name. His watches are beautiful, but alas I am just a young university student at the moment, thus watches of that price range are way out of my budget. I've always enjoyed the submariner, and my first dabble in replica watches was a terrible, terrible all gold and blue two toned submariner which i purchased off of Aliexpress for 20 dollars. That quickly failed, and i sold the watch to another buyer. Now, i'm waiting on my first budget rep, a Regmariner no date from Narika. I know that I eagerly await the day my dad passes on one of his rolexes to me, but that day won't be for quite a while, many more years at the very least, nor would I would comfortable wearing a watch of that caliber at my age. So, i decided to practice for when that time comes! I hope to care for my watch as much as a gen, as i shall treasure it and keep it in the best condition that I can, so I know when the time comes to own a gen, i'll be ready.
