Pictorial review - BP Rolex Daydate Rose gold / brown dial

Recommended Posts

Elegant, stylish, charming or just PIMPY!?

Guess the answer lies in the way you look, dress, walk and talk, so my opinion is: it is all about the person who wears it.

I bought this beauty from Trustytime as he works allot with the BP factory. Flawless transaction as always.

Simply awesome, I got mine in YG and it's my favorite in my collection. Agreed they can look "Pimpy" but when uploading pics with breasts, cigars and alcohol, what else can you ask for ?!

Mine says hi

What's the bracelet like on your watches, a few reviews on other forums are saying the bracelet is a bit " flimsy " , that was how they put it, was about to order one till reading the reviews

The links are reletivly thin not big sturdy links like the 15400 but I wouldn't say it's flimsy. It snaps shut on the wrist and doesn't move, far better than my previous daydates

Brillant, just brillant. This is so different, from what You usually see, with this dial and all that it can only be "gen". The cyclops transparency is fantastic, can´t remember these looking so good except on gen crystals. Lots of fantastic pics - one of them is so distracting that You forget to look at the watch :) - very well done.

Great pictorial review!

any bro have any recommendations?

I'm having a hard time to decide between the Green Dial or the White Dial. hahaha

I love the green-- it's Rolex's "signature color", and in this case is used in honor of the 60th anniversary of the original DayDate. That said, it's also an unusual color for a watch dial, which will certainly draw more attention than a more traditional choice like white, silver, or black-- I guess that could be either good or bad, depending on just how much attention you want to draw, lol. Green may also clash with some colors-- white you can wear with about anything.

Use the search bar on his site. Type in "DayDate 40"

I bought mine from Josh at Perfect Clones instead though, Josh carries the same watch and charges $10 less for the watch and $10 less for shipping.

Beautiful watch. That rose gold really fits well with a nice summer tan! May I ask which type of camera you used, just an iPhone?

This one is also on my list but i want the platinum and glacier blue version. I spend hours on Trusty's website looking at his selection. I think him using the video's to show most is very important why i will buy from him.

The bug has bitten me with these, I think they are great. The first daydate 40 I saw was the dark blue dial with the white gold case and bracelet, however in my experience as the reps are made from SS they do not look the same.... If I had the cojones I would of gone for the olive dial in RG.

Still thinking about selling my 41mm platinum daydate and go for the 40mm BP version, but haven't done so yet because of the reason mentioned before
