My first ever rep just stopped working today had it about 2 months from m2m

It's a 21j movement and to be honest I wouldn't know where to even start

Off to the big watch bin in the sky and time to buy another then

......my 21J Sub went into a coma for 2 days, tried everything to get it working but it just didn't wanna play. The day after it came back to life and been good as gold since!!

Your Pam may be OK too but you need to give the guys some more info so they can advise :)

(and yeah, your link doesn't work mate)

Seems like a goodchance to start unscrewing the crownguards and the caseback and go for a vintage project from there:) http://www.jacksontse.com/new/product-list.php?catlv2_id=15 here are some parts for instance.

Try out the dremel on the caseset, relume? Lots of fun to have with the watch in the near future.

My big hands will make this a challenge my inquisitive mind will make it a joy

The fact I will be spending more time messing with watches will annoy the Mrs

First of all, and this may be teaching granny to suck eggs, have you tried winding it manually to see what happens?

Try the famous palm slap. Hold it by the strap in one hand and slap the face of the watch firmly down on the palm of the other hand a few times.

Oh and like black says, do give it a wind.

lol - it will be fun:) was doing some lite polishing with the dremel - on purpose just between the humps on the bezelring/cg to give it another look today:)

That's bloody impressive. You polish the bezel and the dial changes colour.

That's bloody impressive. You polish the bezel and the dial changes colour.

eyes and lens get a bit tricked by the polishing, because the bezel now is reflecting, making the circle behind look much darker. Depending on light conditions You have to twist the wrist a bit to even read the dial. In certain positions it´s just a black hole with bluish reflections, while it was dull before it was perfectly readable in any position - must have been why they chose it brushed in the first place. Might add that while the effect is stronger in real life, on one pic the background was white, on the other dark.

On he whole got less functional but more interesting, lol.
