Waipio Jeff 0 Posted November 12, 2012 That's quartz, yea? OP said it is a manual movement. Sent via mental telepathy from my Samsung Galaxy SIII via Tapatalk 2.
UmpaHimself 222 Posted November 12, 2012 Woah 5mm! It's funny because I actually bought my SD because it's thicker than a sub (and more unique). Couldn't image such a thin watch on my wrist. Must say the dial on this is very classy and elegant. Wear it well.

myaz 3 Posted March 11, 2013 Old thread. Therefore, it might be out of stock if it's not a popular rep. Send the pic to a TD and they'll see if it's still available.
parisianshut 0 Posted March 18, 2013 since the first week i was here i searched for a thin watch, preferably automatic. it has been difficult to identify models, i remember searching for hours on silix prime watches just by looking at the thickness ... this one is my far one of the most incredible i saw.... Unfortunatly, it doesnt exist anymore. rochest from WI confirmed is out of stock for years. if someone has an alternative to this watch : with thickness : 5-7mm , diameter : 37-42mm please let me know. presence00 0 Posted March 29, 2013 Dendo - gorgeous watch. Paris - I've seen some Altiplano reps with claimed 7-8mm thickness, but haven't pulled the trigger on any yet. Have you had any luck yet?

There are several Piaget reps that meet this description perfectly. Get a few pics and shop around. I believe Josh at PerfectClones has some listed, but I am sure the other TDs can accommodate you as well if they are still around.
Dendo 93 Posted March 29, 2013 Necroposting - almost..... The watch is an old rep I believe - I got it from Robert (RIP). I will post a pic of the caseback shortly. Nice manual movement - will check what it is and post. Of course it is thicker than 5mm really as it has a convex caseback that sinks into your wrist and gives the illusion of being ultra thin. Lots of manufacturers do this - Skagen watches are often this style. Sorry I have not answered before now - have been extremely busy........
parisianshut 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Dendo - gorgeous watch. Paris - I've seen some Altiplano reps with claimed 7-8mm thickness, but haven't pulled the trigger on any yet. Have you had any luck yet? no luck yet, i was really into that one. the alplano's missed something. and i saw a lot stating it was 10mm thick but looked more like 6 or 7mm. but well, i'll wait to find the beauty. Higs 73 Posted April 3, 2013 Of course it is thicker than 5mm really as it has a convex caseback that sinks into your wrist and gives the illusion of being ultra thin. Lots of manufacturers do this - Skagen watches are often this style. I have a Skagen that uses this effect. In fact there's something about the convex back, the shape of the watch and the carbon-fibre dial that makes it look like the dial itself sits below my wrist. Bosox 0 Posted April 4, 2013 I have a thin Movado which is even thinner as it sinks into my wrist. I wear it only with a tux as it slides so well under my cuff. I know some of you don't liike the brand, but of my thirty + gens and reps, this is the ultimate dress watch
