Panerai PAM356 from Noob A7753

In process, but a couple of questions for you gurus out there.

Are there rep or gen boxes, screwdrivers, and the date thangy available out there somewhere? I see the "OEM" screwdriver on eBay, but is that a Panerai screwdriver or something off the shelf? No reason to buy it if it is a standard watch screwdriver with a logo engraved on it.

I haven't seen any, but what about the poking stick as well?

More to come...

Any rep needing a poking stick to change date should come with one...a gen stick or screw driver not needed.

I'm considering a 356 too and love that strap combo.

Strap says its 21 mm...assume they measure inside lugs since straps for these pams are typically sold as a 24 mm?

You're right. The watch did come with the two-ended lil pokey thang for changing the strap. It's plastic and looks very OEM. I don't know what material the gen is made from.

Yeah, I got all excited and posted the strap too quickly. That strap is for another watch, but I think it's amazing.

The PAM does have the 24.

Well, this is hilarious. Hilarious and irritating.

Watch arrives the day before yesterday, and it is everything that everyone says it is. Amanda is a treat to work with.

Luckily, yesterday I get an email from Joshua that he has the same watch on sale for significantly cheaper.

Rats.

On the plus side, I dropped it off at my local watchsmith today for the full service. Very excited to wear it!

Does the date change at or near midnight automatically or do you have to set it daily via the pusher @10?

Cheers

It will be back from the watch shop this week and as soon as it is, I will.

More accurately, the date changes at midnight (or thereabouts), but the pusher @10 works splendidly.

As requested, but terrible pics:

I'm not sure how well that particular crystal was coated, if at all, but c'est la vie.

The band itself is a 23mm and the watch takes a 24mm. It's not really noticeable, but the gap is larger than I expected. The band has gotten rave reviews from those that have noticed it.
