Hello guys,

Could it be possible to update this very interesting post ? There has been many releases since 2008. Datejust 39 mm, Explorer II 41 mm, Sub no date ceramic, Sky Dweller, Daytona ceramic...

And next Baselfair, maybe we can update with a new chronograph flyback and a new Sea Dweller (not deep-sea) ?...

I've wondered when submariner-style dials, eg sub, SD, GMT master, dials went from painted to applied indices.

I've done some research and came up with maybe 1988, but I'm not sure if that was just subs, or all the other similar iterations too.

Food for thought?
