Thelittleprince 2 Posted June 1, 2017 Since I've gotten into the vintage madness with Omega, i thought id start posting all that come by me! This one is on its way to his new owner Boomoo284 CAL. 355 - BUMPER • FROM 1954 • ORIGINAL FACTORY DIAL • GOLD OVER STEEL CASE • SERVICED & WORKING FINE. CASE: GOLD • STAINLESS STEEL SNAP BACK #2757 MOVEMENT: ORIGINAL - SWISS MADE - SELF WINDING (BUMPER) - OMEGA - CAL. 355 - 17 JEWELS MEASURES: 42 MM (from lug to lug) X 34 MM (wide and not count the original and signed crown) 355 cal. movement, incredible!!! Copied from @LightGeek as he explains how this incredible movement works! "A bumper refers to a watch that has a "pendulum" based automatic winding mechanism. In these movements there is no rotor but rather weight that swings. When the weight reaches the end of its motion, it usually bumps against a shock absorbing spring. It has a distinct feeling when wearing it on the wrist and you can actually feel the bumping." I find myself taking the vintage omega hobby very seriously, as i have two more incoming and one alreadt at hand! Ofcorse i wont only be playing around with some Omegas, there will be a lot more intresting watches that i fancy that i think its worth sharing with you guys! Cheers! Sneak peak of what ill be posting next ;) Cal. 552 1962 Yes.... that is a linen dial ;)
