Genius 281 Posted August 5, 2016 removed and cleaned bezel replaced insert now how do I replace the crystal please ? Do I have to remove the movement or does it just pop off ? With the bezel off you may be able to pop it if not you'll have to decase the movement and push out from the inside Have you got a crystal press for fitting the new one? splke 4,383 Posted August 5, 2016 no are they the same as the things selling on amazon for pressing snap backs on watches?
andyboy 5 Posted August 5, 2016 You will need to take the movement out and use a crystal press to remove and install the new one.

splke 4,383 Posted August 6, 2016 right I am going for it as I cant afford to send it off for doing and I need it for my hols on Friday first hurdle how do I release the crown and pin please ? cant see any pusher or anything then is there any movement holders or do you just prise it out ? thank you in advance I wil be out all day but am going to have a go tonight before beer thank you
omegex 0 Posted August 6, 2016 cant seem to find the correct seals/gaskets on ebay and does the crystal have a seal ? The crystal does have a plastic gasket and it is part number 86600630. The crown and stem likewise have a gasket and that is part number EZ0140B0A. Your bezel also has a gasket part number 0G345BA11. Seiko unfortunately do not list a gasket for the caseback. HTH Edit: A quick search on the bay shows that the caseback gasket appears to be 0C3060B0A and that gasket is used on a number of watches other than the 7S26-0020. E.g. 8F35-00A0, 7S35-00B0, 7S25-00D0, 4R15-00D0 just to name a few.
