boredpanda 1 Posted May 1, 2016 I've failed making some straps previously and I've decided to make an easier one (no lining, non tapered, no edge finishing) Still end up with a slightly too thick width no matter how many times I've measured it, spent hours trying to sand them down.. but it's finally done! Pull up leather + green stitching Still many more to learn..

Piccolo 657 Posted May 2, 2016 Looks good..! I like that as you've made it - it only has one hole punched - just where you need it.
Kleen™ 45 Posted May 2, 2016 not bad...but look to Nero straps...you might pick up a few skills...
Abe Fromen 1,618 Posted May 2, 2016 I always make my straps 1mm wider at the head and on the tail, 2mm thinner (even on say a 24x24) because those 2mm make it glide through the buckle/keeper easier.
