Piccolo 673 Posted June 29, 2017 So this sprung a little surprise on me, spotted it by accident, read a bit about it and started liking it even more... Grand Seiko 8J56 - 8020 SBGF017 It's water resistant to 200m, screw down crown, awesome Seiko lume, and independently adjustable hour hand. Drilled lugs I always like. Grand Seiko 8J quartz movement, accurate to +/- 20 seconds a year (not that I'm that fussed!) The finish is ridiculous good, the mixture of polished and brushed surfaces not only look stunning, but give a really nice shape and depth to the structure of the watch. The bracelet is probably the most comfortable I've ever put on, light but not flimsy, and feels supple and soft like a worn in leather strap would. The strike of the seconds hand is absolutely spot on - just "dink" on every marker, sweet and crisp. This watch is the perfect beater for me. It looks smart but it's robust enough to use - the water resistance is a big plus. So far (about 5 hours) so good...really impressed.

MAJ75 922 Posted June 29, 2017 Your collection is building serious strength in depth mate. You must have difficulty deciding the rotation. I must admit I have nearly added a GS a couple of times & I guess there is still a certain inevitability about it........... Top procurement job & enjoy it...................
