Moondustesp 134 Posted September 30, 2016 Been doing some major research with plenty more needed. Just ordered some clarks tudor dress hands and a raffels time movement ring and dial spacer. The plan is to use a Gen 16014 case, dial, crown and whatever else I can find and a 2836-2 movement. So the slippery slope has begun. Wish me luck :(

Robin195959 2 Posted September 30, 2016 Hi bud. Good luck. Great choice of project. Be sure those Tudor hands are the correct length. I've seen them used before and look short.

Moondustesp 134 Posted October 9, 2016 Well the hands have arrived and still waiting on spacer and movement ring but best of all I have a gen case. Well I am waiting for it to arrive. It is a gen 16014 case and back which looks in pretty good condition considering it's age. When I have it in my hands I will decide whether to leave it alone or attempt some refinishing. We'll see but I am off to find some parts have a great day guys

Moondustesp 134 Posted October 30, 2016 This is how its looking so far. Gen 16014 case and back with gen crown and spring bars and I am using a clark plexi. I need to replace the seals with new ones I got from clark. I have a freshly service 2836-2 to go in aswell. I just need a dial and a bezel then I can start the build. Sorry about the crap pic. It may not look it in the pic but the case set is so so clean. It is in great condition so great infact that I am leaving well alone. Enjoy the rest of your day guys I going parts hunting

Moondustesp 134 Posted November 7, 2016 For anyone that's interested my gen bezel turned up and I am chuffed to bits with it. To be honest I am chuffed with the condition of all the parts so far. Just waiting for dial to turn up and assembly can begin . Have a great evening guys
Moondustesp 134 Posted December 18, 2016 Dial is mounted and I have a decent quality jubilee. I have a problem with the keyless (well I screwed it up). So progress is on hold until after xmas when I can have it sorted and maybe get someone that knows what they are doing to assemble it . Have a great day guys
Moondustesp 134 Posted February 26, 2017 Well she is all finished. After speaking with Rolie I decided to send all the parts to him to assemble and sort out the movement. The final result is stunning and I am more than happy with it. I have worn this watch everyday and it is definitely a keeper. Heres a few pics for anyone that's interested.
