Shecky04 0 Posted July 24, 2013 How do you wind this flippin' watch? I've had this watch for over 4 months and still haven't had the time to figure out how to wind it. Sounds ridiculous, but can any of you fine gentlemen who own this watch give me "hand" ? I just don't want to turn it the wrong way and end up breaking it. Sigh. THANK YOU!!! You probably have to unscrew the crown first to get the stem to pop out, most rep watches have screw in crowns. Wind the watch, then push the crown in while screwing it back in. Shecky04 0 Posted July 24, 2013 You probably have to unscrew the crown first to get the stem to pop out, most rep watches have screw in crowns. Wind the watch, then push the crown in while screwing it back in. For some reason, it doesn't seem like I can unscrew the crown. If I pull the crown once, and start twisting clockwise/counterclockwise, the hands move. Other than that, can't pull it any further. If the crown's in the locked position, and I twist clockwise just a little bit, it sounds like I shouldn't be twisting it that way. If I twist it counterclockwise, there's no resistance at all, and it doesn't do anything. If it helps, when I received the watch and opened the box, it was working. I've also tried giving a couple slaps on the palm to no avail.
Shecky04 0 Posted August 4, 2013 Fuck it, the watch is broken. Local watch smith says it's about $160 to fix. Nice $125.00 paper weight. Wore the watch twice only. I call that getting swindled and pimped. Ha!
