12lurk 0 Posted January 11, 2013 I replaced the rubber (which I love for comfort) with a 26mm leather strap I have been modifying. At first I didn't like it but it's starting to grow on me. What do you think? Please vote.
Luthier 1 Posted January 11, 2013 Not on such a leather.
HWG 11 Posted January 11, 2013 It doesnt look bad, but I think rubber might be best on this one.
RichardMiami 4 Posted January 11, 2013 This watch belongs on Rubber - at least the PVD version does!!
Leigh 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Well I like it, I think it gives it a little more something with the leather. Can't put my finger on it but looks better than the rubber. Just my opinion.
Crusader 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Yes, I think it looks amazing. Really nice contrast between the stlye of the strap and the watch. Wear it well
wolfpacker 94 Posted January 11, 2013 Not on such a leather. Agree with Luthier on this. Love mine on a rubber strap but now sure I like that combo there.

vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted January 11, 2013 www.bandrbands.com/team02.aspx I'm a fan of the carbon fibre bands... leather is ok too, but not what you have on it now. it needs to be a proper strap.
Bash64 17 Posted January 11, 2013 I like it on leather buddy. Looks good to me. Like this one. Nice combo!

BigsCG 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Dangerous9 has some very nice shots of B&R 02 SS on leather. Much nicer than rubber any day. It looks better when the leather is cut to match. Regular leather strap just won't do. I've been searching for a used XL strap for a month now with no luck. I believe Serge and I will be working something out soon! 12lurk 0 Posted January 11, 2013 This watch belongs on Rubber - at least the PVD version does!! How has the PVD held up? I wish I would have bought one of each.
RichardMiami 4 Posted January 11, 2013 The PVD is fine. I beat the crap out of my watches, and there are no chips or wear. What you see in the pic is dust. The only item is the screw heads. Look carefully at the four of them outside the bezel at 11, 1, 5 and 7. You will see that they are colored wrong. That is because they rusted and I have tried to deal with that. I should find four black screws to fit, but I am too damn lazy.
BigsCG 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Military style strap where the watch sits on top of leather may help with the case strap "flow". It is what I've been wearing till I can get something that fits better. . I feel like I'm heading into combat it is so bulky though. Going to rock it next time I'm shooting at something in the wood or the range. Glad this topic came up, been debating straps for the 02 for a month
RichardMiami 4 Posted January 11, 2013 I should add that this is NOT one of Toro's. It is one I picked up some years ago in my travels. God knows where it came from!
BigsCG 0 Posted January 11, 2013 I like it on leather buddy. Looks good to me. Like this one. Is that an 02 strap or 01? 03? There or many more of the 01/03 second hand available and just curious if the fit is relatively the same.
edwinowl 180 Posted January 11, 2013 It's actually from a 01 94 that I bought from Pihllipe it's slightly small for me so I'm having one made, may be up for grabs soon

How long does it take? www.bandrbands.com/team02.aspx I'm a fan of the carbon fibre bands... leather is ok too, but not what you have on it now. it needs to be a proper strap.
