Hi All,

Wondering if any of you could shed some light on this, rather beat up I know, but its stated as genuine.

It looks like a BR03-51 GMT face but in a BR01-Tourbillion Limited edition case?

front.jpgback.jpg

Also, the standard do not uns crew seems really badly done, but so many of the other parts seem correct.

Might be a Franken?

Whats your thoughts?

Bell & Ross would not engrave 'OD UNS CREW TON' on the case back.

The owner of a $3,000 watch would not age it as if it was in a Dutch bar fight.

And it looks like someone put two DH Gate replicas together...

The description would be 'Hot Luxurious fashion precision imported multi-functional automatic mechanical Tourbillon back through the large square Dial Mens watch belt'.

Nothing?

Hex screws on lugs,

hex screws on rear (never seen this on ANY BR01-Tourbillion fake)

Dial Screws correctly aligned with minute markers

Big Date complication with dual time at 6 o'clock (movement has been confirmed today that its an ETA 2892 with TT651 module).

But i agree, the Do Not uns crew is super weird. Why would you go to all the hassle with the above detail and then screw that up. Why would you put a gen movement in it?

Is there even an asian clone movement that has big date and dual time at 6 o'clock complications?

I cant find any information, either gen or fake with these details.

Is there any proof any of those complications work?

Isnt it absolutely possible there are lies being told?

How do you know it's gen movement?

Rep makers are long renowned for getting every little detail right bar a simple stupid spelling mistake that shouts fake.

You seem determined this is gen and seem to be trying to convince either ourselves or yourself...the perfect scam victim really

Nivenj, sorry for giving you a hard time here. We're used to seeing reps passed off as gens. Nothing makes it easier to pass off a fake than some creative vintagizing. The GMTs were limited production. It seems extremely suspicious that an expensive and recent watch would end up in a scraped, worn and mis-matched case with rusty hex screws.

If a down-on-his-luck movie star drove over it with his Porsche, that's a good argument, but not so convincing if someone is selling it out of their garage.

Any proof the complications work...Yes I've used them and they work.

How do I know its a gen movement? I Had it verified by a watch repairer/servicer

Nope not determined at all its a gen, hence my post. I'm just asking questions. There are a lot of people on here that are too quick to judge and dont back up any of their comments.

I asked simple questions. If you had stated that you've had it in hand and tested the functions and had the movement verified then I wouldn't have asked them and you wouldn't have to get uppity over me asking the questions!

And why targeting my comments for your post about people being quick to judge? plenty other comments here far worse than mine

You asked questions, don't like the answers? Well don't ask questions then.

If you ask on a public forum then learn to accept you might not like the responses.

A lot of people myself included are assuming that you are asking in advance of a purchase, you've not really given any information about the purpose of your questions. If you're going to be a little vague and obtuse then you may get vague and obtuse in return.

Now my next question is, if you've had it verified why are you asking these questions? Surely if it's been verified you had it verified in an AD who could validate its authenticity without coming to a rep forum to ask if it's rep.

Sorry if I offended you with my comment. But if you are sure of your "watch repairer" you should get everything in writing and insure your precious watch. I used to work at a B&R AD and would love to stand corrected on my comments about this watch.

Mr Stubbs

This photo is from a replica website which I'm not familiar with. I won't post the site. Found it by Googling Bell & Ross orange GMT.

On the case back the type is mis-spelled as MILIARY. Perhaps the front pic is a gen and the back pic is a rep. Who knows.

Here is a GEN case back with the DO NOT UNSCREW engraving oriented correctly.

Everything about the original photos which were posted (now taken down?) just begs more questions.

Enough said.
