tabuktime 54 Posted October 27, 2016 I've seen a few posts recently about Tourbys recently and whilst not initially drawn to to them I do find them quite interesting. My main concern about them is the reliability/robustness of the movements used and the subsequent issue of servicing and repair of such (i have read of $600 paperweights!). The next question that pops into my head (tied to to subject of reliability) is bang for buck. Is it better value to get a rep with a tourby in it, or go gen (Chinese) for a perceived increase in quality? I'm still dubious about the movements, but you never know, more recent relevant information could push me over the edge.
