RepGuy 108 Posted November 18, 2016 I've been bitten by the AP bug lately, and as a result, have gone about purchasing far too many at once . This is one that just arrived today, which is a Royal Oak Diver, with a forged carbon case and titanium bezel and buckle running an A2824 movement. I've got to say that I actually like this one more than my Stainless Steel version, even with the relative lightness compared to my other one. The forged carbon is amazing looking, and I can tell that it is really made of carbon as opposed to just a pattern. While coming in lighter, thanks to the carbon and titanium, it still has a hefty weight to it, which is what I look for in a watch. The A2824 movement comes to life with a shake or two, and appears to be working great. Excellent lume and dial, with everything appearing as it should. I purchased a macro lens for my phone, so this is the first watch I have tried this on.. it will give me something to do while waiting on my other AP 15400 to arrive! All of these pictures were taken on my phone, with some using a macro clip on lens.. so don't expect professional quality here
jpohl402 0 Posted November 18, 2016 Nice little write up and shots! You are correct, it has a titanium buckle (& caseback) - but NOT a titanium bezel - that portion is ceramic! Enjoy that beauty!

RepGuy 108 Posted November 26, 2016 Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, this piece is on its way back to China to get repaired... the minute hand likes to fall off of its place on the pinion and flop around the dial :(
