Picked up a Tissot today

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys! I came across a vintage Tissot today. Can't really find any info on it. I was hoping some one here knew something.

It is a Visodate Seastar PR516. But for $5 bucks i couldn't pass it up. Here are a few pics....

Looks like a 1967 model. A 17 jeweled manual wind.

Hmm... Looks to have a rotor so seems like an auto wind? Or are you saying that's it's a manual wind moddified to be an auto?

Regardless, nice find for $5. Chris at 10:10 specializes in vintage restoration, so drop him a PM and get his thoughts on what he could do to bring it back to life. ;)

I would send it back to Tissot under warranty. Tell them you only wore it once in 1967 and its stopped working!
