purger72 0 Posted September 3, 2016 My first Navitimer rep come from TD Perfect Clones , have to thank to this forum for all the info and trusted dealer list, so thank you all. Navitimer is 42mm blue dial with number markers and leather strap but must say prefer stainless steel bracelet and is on its way . First few photo's before few words Apologies for the pic they only taken with phone camera. I guess as you already know Navitimer has A7750 movement. Setting up time/date easy but the rotor is quite noisy and wonder if that is a common thing ?? Next thing is the crow, thought it is screw down crown but its not.Actualy feels like is hand winding crown!! Wonder if I got modified A7750 movement with hand winding crown!? Bit confused with the whole thing. Been reading a lot on the forum stckies and so on ... What was your experiences with Navitimers? On the other hand watch presence is absolutely beautiful, was fan off Breitling Navitimer for long time and Im really impressed with the watch. Will have to se how is time keeping and will report back.

SamsonAusKognito 31 Posted September 3, 2016 Looks very nice! A beautiful watch. If you want to get rid of that noisy rotor, you should let it have a service from our Forum memeber Rolie, or any of our trusted ones for services & repairs you prefer. Wear it in health I would like to see some pics with bracelet when you got that. Cheers

Agree with you about the SS bracelet being better. An important point about 7750s. It's best to stop the chronograph, reset it and leave it stopped. Don't play with the buttons. This is to reduce the stress on the movement. Stop it when the second hand is between 11 and 1 so you reset it with minimum distance to the 12 position. Then you reduce the chance of the second hand moving on its pinion and not resetting to 12. The second hands are sometimes loose. Your crown sounds like all others. The movement can also be hand wound. It is discouraged and normally unnecessary. Hand winding puts extra stress on the mechanism. I hope this helps. Enjoy your fine watch. Is it really that detrimental to hand wind it?
GenTLe 1,490 Posted May 28, 2017 Is it really that detrimental to hand wind it? Not with recent 7750s, BUT I'd still avoid to do it unless necessary. When I take up one of my 7750 from the box I handwind it for 10/15 turns of the crown, set date and time and wear it. No need to handwind it 60 turns... Slink73 6 Posted May 28, 2017 Fabulous watch! Interesting choice, why did you go breitling over PAM, Rollie or AoB?
