Help identifying movement

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I picked up a Glashutte on ebay, but a stem broke from the crown and I have no idea what movement it is to buy a replacement as I have not seen a watch with 3 miniature movements on it before.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm going to have a stab in the dark here ok, now I have no idea as I have never played with one of these before, but if you can get the back off you might be able to see some form of movement number or mark, id be inclined to concentrate on the movement nearest the stem tube as this is where the stem obviously locates.

failing that some one else might have a better answer or try Google old google

Thanks, getting the back of is proving to be a bit of a task, I took the screws out but it almost seems to be welded on, its that tough to remove. I'm going to try again when I get a spare moment but its really difficult.

Thanks for the reply

After double checking that you removed all the screws, simply slide your screwdriver between the case back and the case, then twist it to lift it away. This should help you.

By the way, be careful not to loose the screws ( seems that you already lost one ) because they can be difficult to find. Another idea is that it could be a snap off case back with fake screws, but since you removed them it shouldn't be the case
