The base watch is a cartel 6241. I asked KeNnY for the following modifications:

- Install a black YUKI Paul Newman dial, which requires a mod for the subdial hand at the 6 o'clock position;

- Fit three thinner (and thus more genlike) subdial hands;

- Fit a Clark Tropic 21 plexiglas;

-Rounding the lug points

I already had a Yuki steel bracelet (78350 - 571).

I am slightly disappointed with the black YUKI Paul Newman dial. Earlier I had bought from YUKI the white Paul Newman dial, and that dial is much better in quality and details (e.g. no bleeding). I added one picture with the white dial for comparison. However, as we all know, nobody than oneself will ever notice these details. Therefore, I really enjoy this watch.

KeNnY's work is impeccable as always.

(Sorry for the quality of the pics, I tried hard...).

Looks gorgeous mate, I love the back dial 6241, it's the best combo IMO!!

I want a gold one, they're stunning, but don't think anyone does an affordable replacement dial, which is a shame! Think Phong do one but it's so expensive!!

Will definitely buy one at some point, and maybe a black dial 6239 in steel to go with it!!

Whaaaa? A 62xx Daytona you say? Does Ish approve? Um… yes. :)

Too bad I'm so goddamn paranoid about customs or I'd be sending all four of mine to KeNnY. They don't even need work. I'd do it just because.

Hello DC,

Regarding gold dial: did you check YUKI? They now sell a Rolex 70' gold sigma dial, 6263/6265, for 238 USD.
