BM284 1,518 Posted September 20, 2016 So the day has finally come ... I have been after a Marine National NATO strap for a while and after reading a few threads on here and RWI I found a few places that might be able to satisfy my needs. Well after a few google searches I found myself at a website 'Erikas Originals' and promptly ordered a MN NATO .... And the day has now come (hate waiting for things! ) What do you think? BM284 1,518 Posted September 20, 2016 Looks great! Bet it is comfortable too. It certainly is - and because its NOS para cord, it wears as a stretchy bracelet and not like your typical nato
NCRich 13,746 Posted September 20, 2016 It's green? With a blue watch? Just kidding, looks like a good change up from the bracelet.

Cheers mate - seems to be the traditional colour - I've got an aged bezel that I'm contemplating putting on (not too aged, just a gentle bleaching) ..... NCRich 13,746 Posted September 20, 2016 I've been thinking of this for the snowflake. Too cheerful?
NCRich 13,746 Posted September 20, 2016 A picture of an original MN snowflake... If you pour salt water into your watch case and let it dry, plus run the strap through the washer a hundred times you could recreate that neglected abused look. Seriously look how tall the crown guards are on that.
Del 4,450 Posted September 20, 2016 Oh, I like that!
BM284 1,518 Posted September 20, 2016 I've been thinking of this for the snowflake. Too cheerful? I think I'd need to see it on to know if it suits - because a friend of mine has a gen Tudor Heritage Chrono blue I always associate that colour scheme with that. As for the neglected look ... I'm not trying to replicate the look that much!!! .....and oh yes those crown guards are rather high!
