MAJ75 922 Posted December 8, 2016 Hi All, In another first for me, I have just completed my first Transatlantic M2M Sale. I have developed a real love for the Rolex "Linen" dial & when this Franken piece was posted on the RWI Sale board despite recent heavy purchases I decided to buy it. The 36mm size compliments my two 34mm Gens nicely & it really is stunning to look at. I only had to pay a pocket change customs charge (in comparison to the purchase price) as the seller was experienced & looked after me well. Also thrown into the deal was another Gen 1600 mid case & smooth bezel & another crystal.

MAJ75 922 Posted December 18, 2016 Wow this is a beaut! Thank you friend, appreciated. I keep coming back for another look, which means she's a real beauty. That linen dial is to die for. I love the machine turned steel bezel. So understated... I drool It's kind of funny, that I never used to like the fluted style bezels or jubilee bracelets until recently. The dial is what the piece is all about for sure though. StoneP ? Yes indeed mate, I believe that is where this originated. Stunning Thanks chief. I dug the spec out of the sales thread: Specs: Gen dial, two gen bezels (other gen is on the extra case), gen mid case, gen plexi on the watch (with an extra clarks crystal), gen crown and gen Tudor hands built by stone-p 2836-2 eta movement. I also received as part of the sale: I'm including an extra case, stem, bezel, and crystal. So it could well be that another will join it at some point in the future, I would like a silver pie-pan dial..............

Cheers for the kind words guys. I think I got pretty lucky with the price, I paid $625 including all of the other parts..... Often these Stone P builds are higher than what I paid.....................
