I felt the urge to initiate myself into the world of Panerai but was reluctant as I wasn't sure if I would like the style or 47mm size on my measly 6.5 inch wrist.

Knowing this itch must be scratched, I found this cheapy on the Gate and decided to give it a whirl.

For the price ($USD24 delivered) I think it's fantastic, but take into account that I have not yet owned a decent PAM rep.

Watch is a Quartz, which at this price is to be expected, sandwich dial with crazy good lume, though it doesn't last too long. All markings, so far as I can tell, seem correct, watch has a nice weight and feel about it and I am happily surprised with the quality of the strap, which not only smells like leather, but also looks nice and has decent stitching. Only downside to strap is that buckle is sterile, small downside IMO.

Subdials move though the buttons are extremely stiff, and I can't be fucked with them. Date wheel lines up perfectly from what I can see too

All said and done, great money spent, and has made me realise I will invest in a nice PAM 111 in the future.

Thanks for reading guys, take care, here are some pics

A good cheap way to catch Paneraitis. Don't take the tablets.

nice for the Money. Once the Pam itch is scratched though youre hooked and a decent Noob 111 is a must on a decent leather strap. I love mine

Some of the "Lite" versions from a TD are good beaters.

Toro for example has some in his Sale section.

Yeah I've been checking those out, haven't bought from Toro before, but it's only a matter of time

Cheap af, but good for the money. Glad it matches the descriptions photos on the Gate.

Yep, no lies were told by the seller, and came packaged well in a foam box.

I need cheapies in my watch box, don't want to be scratching up my good ones at work

Good get my man, great introduction into the world of Pam. They are a great looking watch, simple in detail but robust in looks

It's crazy to think that was shipped to you for $24. Shipping alone probably are up 1/3 to 1/2 of the price you paid.

The less I pay the better, especially for a watch I'm going to destroy whilst at work

Always fancied seeing what a Pam would look like on my wrist...so I've just ordered one of these!

Wonder if they do an IWC type watch??

For the money you can't go wrong, and you got in whilst they are still 50% off.

It's a good one to test out the PAM style on, and I believe it's going to stay on the wrist all week.

I haven't seen an IWC rep at this price, cheapest I've seen is about $60 USD

However there is a cheap shit brand called Yazole that do a Big Pilot style dirt cheap. Cannot comment on the quality
