Soopah Spy 0 Posted November 1, 2012 Local AD just got this one in. I know what I think of it. What do you think?
onionbag 1 Posted November 1, 2012 I've often admired this B&R case shape, although I'm not sure it would suit me having less.....er bulky wrists. An element of IWC in the numeral font perhaps? Nice too see you posting again Soopah Spy.
Crusader 0 Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) Good to see you again, it's been a while, I missed your long posts The only thing that bothers me about B&R is the size, I really like this instrument look, PVD, rubber strap etc. And this case shape is very comfortable on the wrist, more then one would thought. I think I'll get myself 03-92 rep soon. Edited November 1, 2012 by Crusader
Soopah Spy 0 Posted November 1, 2012 Good to be back, guys. That's the life of an international man of mystery for you. I have one of the big B&R 01's, and it does wear pretty well. Of course, mine's a phantom, so it's not so useful in the dark. I think I'd want this new model to be superlumed. That design would be sweet with high-contrast in the gloom. jacobarch 0 Posted November 1, 2012 I've come to the conclusion that B&R's look great OFF the wrist. Once you put them on they just look ridiculous. Nice looking watch tho. lol
vonGluberschmidt 0 Posted November 1, 2012 this piece is my favorite of all the new releases. I would love the gen... sadly, timing is everything... and now isn't the time.
edwinowl 180 Posted November 1, 2012 Wow that's nice. Love it want one.
Soopah Spy 0 Posted November 2, 2012 Makes me wonder if they'll come out with other instrument-based designs, like airspeed, or artificial horizon...
gB. 0 Posted November 2, 2012 Meh, but I'm not much of a B&R fan. If wall clocks on straps is your thang, then it looks nice I guess.
trailboss99 994 Posted November 2, 2012 Classic B&R, if it comes out as quartz rep I'll buy one and screw it to my dash in the fourby.

greg_r 81 Posted November 2, 2012 I love 'em, although the BR03 is, for me, the more comfortable watch. I find the 01 just a fraction too big...
Soopah Spy 0 Posted November 5, 2012 I love 'em, although the BR03 is, for me, the more comfortable watch. I find the 01 just a fraction too big... BR-01 is a big chunk of watch, not as huge as a U-Boat, but still the biggest watch I've owned. My wrists are right at 7", and the BR01 is almost exactly the width of my wrist from side-to-side, so band comfort was fine. I switched mine to the B&R-style web band, and it was uber easy to wear. This new Altimeter version is the same case diameter as the BR-01, the bigger of the two Instrument Series cases. I think it lends to the overall readability of that dial, though, to have it be that size. I'm kinda looking foward to seeing how long this one takes to be repped. Any bets? ByranM 0 Posted November 27, 2015 Pretty nice looking watch, it's definitely got a unique look to it. Seems to me like a pretty niche watch? But I could just have different taste.
