fatarms 7,759 Posted August 1, 2013 Hi guys, just got this one in the mail today. Solid and well built, well balanced. Great chrono that snaps right back to 12. Smooth winding, smooth rotor that's almost silent on this A7750. It's supposed to be 42mm, but feels and looks a bit smaller on the wrist, but I compared it to my SubC and it's definitely bigger. This one is going to be great for dressing up or just hanging out in jeans on a weekend. Absolutely great service from Tony over at asian7750(dot)com. Not a trusted dealer here (for noobs who may be wondering), but I've ordered from him a few times and he's always been great. 7 days from order to my door in the USA. On to the pics! By the way, can anyone tell me what that little "DATE" thing is on the side under the top chrono pusher is? I thought it was a button, but it rotates around the crown to go to the opposite position above the bottom pusher. Little bit o'bling
fatarms 7,759 Posted August 1, 2013 I guess this is what the "lever" does. It seems to be just cosmetic on the rep. Also patented is the special crown protector (US patent # 7404669B2). It allows the owner to have two fold control function with the crown in the same axial position making it possible, for instance, to control a timezone function when the crown is rotated in the first direction, and a date setting function when the crown is rotated in the opposite direction. Inadvertant rotation away from the desired directed is "blocked" by the control lever.
LightGeek 25 Posted August 1, 2013 Decoration. It does make it easier to release the crown though. I find in my tony special the crown protector is not a smooth motion nor are the chrono pushers. Contrary on my $350 white face rep its silky smooth. It's the "expensive watch" effect hahaha.

It's not a screw in crown and it is a bit harder than most non screw in crowns to pull out.
