elp 26 Posted July 18, 2015 I have been here a couple years now, purchased dozens of watches, flipped a lot, now seem to be enjoy exploring (gen) microbrands. I realised I haven't photographed my collection as a whole, so without further ado, here is a current snapshot: In no particular order: Miss Pigerai, a fun project with Andyboy that started as a joke, and ended up even funnier. On a homemade strap. A custom Panerai style watch with my company's logo I had made for myself and my partners - funny, we just rebranded so need to get some new dials! Very elegant on a Nero strap Custom PVD PAM; my second build ever, grey lume, also on Nero: Seiko FFF - always wanted one of these, this is one of Andyboy's builds, note the red-tipped seconds hand, on a Brady sailcloth My Graham collection - all reps: Toro special on homemade strap: Another Toro special on distressed leather zulu: Chronofighter diver on Nero strap: Russian regulateur (hour hand replaced) on custom Nero: Suunto D9 (a "real" diver ): Little Seiko, will be making a custom strap to match it - brown with pale green thread: Seiko Darth Vader on matching Nato: Rep PloProf - my first rep, relumed by KeNnY: Seiko on homemade orange strap: Gerlach Otago - the sunburst effect of the dial is lovely (Strapcode strap with matching stitching): Athaya Vintage pilot, mounted on Steinhart distressed strap: Ancon Sea Shadow with tobacco brown dial: Gerlach Auroch with matching strap from eBay Steinhart Marine Officer bronze on Nero faux ammo: Seiko Soxa mod ... cushion case, orange dial and bezel insert from Dagaz, built by Andyboy Another l'il Seiko Rolex 1675 (gen) EGI / depth meter custom build, on Nero strap: Some others I haven't photographed such as a few Citizen Aqualands I need to replace batteries on, and of course a few more on the way Thanks for reading. P.S. Wearing this right now, thanks to cmdErrX's inspiring pics: And some new additions to the stable: Prometheus Piranha Yellow, on Hirsch Robby strap: Rep quartz Omega Bullhead Vratislavia Conceptum Heritage Chrono in Green: Loving the green sunburst dial! Kcore 0 Posted July 18, 2015 A really nice assortment of divers! Great collection in all. I love that Timex with depth & temp. Is that a No D. table on the case between the lugs at 6:00, that's crazy!!! How do you like your D9? Never could get my head around wireless tank data. I've use a Mares Nemo Matrix as I do Nitrox at times. Curious, do you use a redundant SPG in a console?

elp 26 Posted July 19, 2015 Thanks for the kind words guys - I'm definitely consolidating, learning what I like and take pleasure in wearing rather than just looking at in the watchbox. The custom pieces are all special in their own way, beyond their monetary value. I have to say that I'm appreciating gens more, especially more original microbrands - workmanship, reliability and I don't need to compare them to anything (you know that annoying feeling once you notice a "tell" it will be on your mind constantly as you look at the watch!). Kcore: yep, it's a no deco time on the Timex case. Haven't checked it, look forward to taking it diving this summer and seeing how the depth gauge stacks up against my D9 for reliability, that's one way to pass the time during a safety stop The D9 is my first dive computer, use it happily for nitrox, also for the wireless tank data when using my own kit, but also with an analog backup .....hasn't happened, but imagine losing connectivity when you're halfway through a dive at depth ... no thanks! I also have an analog SPG on the octopus, and try to get one when I rent kit abroad in which case I'll always compare depths and use the more conservative. Greg: I'm more of a neat espresso guy .... and as you are dissing my Grahams I will point out they make good bottle openers too

elp 26 Posted July 20, 2015 I'm sure I'd posted on this thread?? Must be the admin trying to shoehorn me out again Lovely diverse collection you got going on there mate, lovin the square gerlach in particular You did post Pickle - my fault as I duplicated the thread, so asked a mod to correct; your post was in the other thread and must have been binned. Of course, the mods could also be after you anyway I got so lucky with that Auroch - limited edition, been wanting one for ages, I decide to post a WTB on WUS and one was listed less than 5 mins previously ... I jumped on it like a nymphomaniac at a brothel
