rawbaws 91 Posted January 6, 2017 Picked this one up thanks to one of dfq23's tips from Global Rakuten Ever since I've gotten into watches I always liked the look of the M-Force but never picked one up. From memory they were always around the $400USD mark. The likes of creation watches have sold them recently for about $260USD which was already a heavy discount on the normal price from a few years ago. I recall them being more like $400USD for a long time. I picked this one up for $220USD including shipping. I believe they have stopped production of the M-Force line? Its a chunky dive watch. Nice case shape, large 46mm case. Hacking, winding, power reserve and ISO rated 200m. Sapphire Crystal. Brilliant lume. Nice bezel movement. The major let down with the watch is the bracelet. The usual suspects - end links aren't solid, pressed steel clasp, and pins which have some stupid collar on them which fling away when you remove them. The links are mostly brushed with a polished section to them, but as you will see from my pics the quality is pretty poor. It is also quite rattly. Overall the bracelet lets down what is a very nice watch and will have to be changed out for something new. A few pics - Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

MoveAlong 23 Posted January 6, 2017 I love Orient/Star. I like this one a lot. I had an Orange Ray and had a similar opinion. Great quality watch with a terrible flimsy rattly bracelet. Maybe check in to Strapcode? I think they are making "super" versions with SEL's for the Ray and Mako. Not sure about the M-Force. EDIT: Looks like they're only making them for Ray II and Mako II. rawbaws 91 Posted January 24, 2017 I've just noticed after only a few wears.. a lot of the paint infills of my bezel dots are gone. Might be the chlorine from my pool?
