Pam 382 Bronze Bomber (another review) *PIC HEAVY*

I wasn't a fan of ANYTHING Panerai when I first joined RWG. I was another brainwashed minion from the mainstream and only knew of what I saw in movies or on TV. I had a love for watches ever since I was a small child, but I didn't realize how deep the 'rabbit hole' really went until reading, reading, reading and reading some more once I hit that submit button for my opening statements in the noobs section.

After a short while here on the board and seeing a slew of photos posted by senior members here of their 'custom' Pams my love affair started. THEN,....holy crap......the KW factory 382 was announced. When I saw the machine aged looking case and bezel of the 382, I was SOLD. I wouldn't rest until I owned one. The hunt began!!!!!

I settled for TSwatch and the extra 'Pig' buckle they carried. Since I was going all the way with this bronze baby, I'm going all in! I started ordering straps and buckles even before I had the gold beast in my possession. Once I had my hands on this watch, the love affair has turned into an obsession.

The 382 isn't like most Reps. The 382 seriously feels like a legitimate Genuine watch. Having had the privilege of trying on the Genuine 382 in Govberg Jewelers here in Philadelphia, I can tell you with 100% absolute certainty the feeling is identical to the real deal. The Rep and Gen are the same on the wrist.

The movement is the infamous A7750 which is known for problems, headaches, pains in the ass, heart aches, chest pains, tears, blood and drunken fits of crying, cursing, throwing things and smashing shit. We all know the A7750 is POOP.

On the other hand, I truly believe that KW has in fact taken their time and correctly assembled the A7750 movement inside this specific watch. I have other watches with the A7750, and I know all too well how this specific movement is supposed to feel like but with the KW 382, non of that feeling comes through. I forget altogether that it contains a known turd and it runs quite good. The power reserve is roughly 68-70 hours (not sure it's completely wound either). The rotor moves freely, the crown and stem feel solid and strong, when setting the time the hands move very precisely and the date falls squarely into place with the numbers centered in the window. The LUME is torch bright (pics below)

All of the above is my own personal opinions and feelings about the watch, and if it helps someone select the KW version, good.

Here are some photos of my Bronze baby on my brand new JohnG NERO Faux Ammo strap.

TSWatch, it's an option when making the purchase.

Awesome watch and strap. I just put a JohnG strap on my new 111 and can't believe how awesome it is. Bronzo is my next purchase and he will be making the strap for that one as well.

This strap looks great and great pictures. I have my 382 on a Malio Macchia and its a fantastic strap. As soft as butter.

Amazing strap. God I love these "PIG" buckles. Good choice. Did you encountered any problems with watch so far ?

Looking for a good bronze buckle. Have a brass on, but the patinas are way different.

I think Heritage18 has some bronze coated buckles.
