New in - Bell & Ross by Sinn

Recommended Posts

Piccolo

Saw this pop up for Sale on WUS - I've been looking for a Sinn for a while, but couldn't find the right one. I also like the B&R brand but most of the models don't suit me, and/or have terrible resale values. This combined the two for me.

Some info about the collaboration here:

http://www.woundforlife.com/2014/05/19/lessons-wristory-bell-ross-story/

This one is based on the Sinn 203, and is an edition of 300. Made roughly in the mid 90's, it's 41mm, made of bead blasted titanium so feels smaller as it's light. Runs a Valjoux 7750 movement with screw down pushers and crown. It has a tritium dial, a divers extension on the bracelet, and I like it :) Recognizable Sinn lugs too.

Anyway - a few pics below, not the best but they'll do.

It's a great watch, sits really nicely, feels solid but light, great color on the numerals and easily legible.

Had no idea B&R was such a new brand, and bomb diffusion?! Fascinating origin and such a handsome watch, thanks for sharing.

They've built a good following in a short space of time, I definitely prefer their earlier models to the more recent ones though.

That is a cool piece

Thanks, I'm liking it so far, 8 hours in :D

I happen to love the BR02's at the moment.

If you put a normal strap on these they'd resemble Omega chronographs (PO or Speedmaster).

I'm thinking about a vintage leather strap for it, or maybe something canvas to keep it a bit military styled.

Great watch! These look like they are built like tanks, proper tool watches. Unfortunately when ever they pop up it's always the wrong time for me :(

Thanks Dal, I'll clean it and then get it dirty again in about a week :D I might have a look into lume for the bezel too, though I quite like the beaten up look as it is an old, well used watch

It does feel really well built, it should be as it's been made by Sinn. All of their watches are very well engineered. The titanium helps to keep it comfortably light though.

I missed out on two different Type XX's - so got this as a space filler while I track the right Breguet down.

What a beauty! Always wanted one of these or the Sinn 356, both great watches. How much was if you don't mind me asking?
