H2O Helberg Kalimar II w bracelet- Loving the German builds

Recommended Posts

plankton

After what seems like a very long wait, it has arrived.

  • H2O Kalimar II custom build
  • ETA 2824
  • 3000m pressure tested in Germany
  • 44mm
  • Domed crystal
  • Ratcheting extension on the bracelet 3mm at a time (like the DSSD or Perrelet diver, Omega diver).
  • Machining is as top quality as I have seen. Well worth the purchase price!

I really like this one, great fit, cool bezel and bracelet. Excellent, long lasting lume, easy to read. For my taste a definite winner!

Yeah! The watch is stunning :o

The lumped bezel and especially the bracelet are sick.

Enjoy your watch and wear it well ;)

I really like the product, the ability to practically design a unique watch. The price point ($1000) for this quality is exceptional. So the only issue is the long wait to get these builds, it's certainly worth it but it does seem like forever.

I will use this in place of a gen DSSD, better watch all around IMO.

No mate. You still need light. Without sufficient light you'll get a crap pic. It all depends on where the light is. You need to diffuse it somehow so you don't get direct light on the crystal.

Here's a shot to show what I mean:

All the light is diffused from the side and above so I don't get any direct light on the crystal.

Here's a rubbish shot with direct light:

Send it to me and I'll do a photoshoot . . . :P

Absolutely stunning, but I thought it came on a velvet choker, did you change the bracelet?

Nah I will leave it, love the double AR but it is too fragile for a watch I'm gonna wear lots.
