People do that? if they were trying to scam would they not ask for box and papers for a specific watch brand, and mod.......................oh wait he is.................................... Daywatch 4 Posted February 28, 2015 While I prefer to spend the money on a quality watchbox/straps or other reps, I totally understand that having some boxes will add to the experience of owning a rep and the respective box is a reasonable place to store them away. A Rainer watchbox isn´t cheap either. One major difference between getting a rep or a gen is precisely the nice presentation of the gen - instead of tearing away all the bubblewrap and ugly brown packing plastic when we get a rep. I have a nice rep Cartier box which I use for my Santos 100, and it's certainly smarter than taking a slot in a multi-watch box. However, unless you wish to fool someone that your watch is genuine, I see no point whatever in fake sales invoices, and fake warranty cards, neither of which have any display value, and neither of which could pass muster at an AD.
