rodralph 0 Posted March 4, 2015 I just installed a new tube on the watch and everything was going almost perfect. I fitted a new stem to the Gen Omega crown. I pulled the stem and crown out to add some thread lock. Something happened and now when I insert the stem and crown, the winding mechanism does not engage. Whenever I turn the crown, it just changes the time. I notice that these two gears are moving freely. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

SSTEEL 0 Posted March 4, 2015 Don't give up so easily, yes its a PITA sometimes, but stick with it, take your time, and research if needed, and take another shot at it. It does indeed sound like the keyless work is messed up.
