ptr 0 Posted March 27, 2015 Hey guys, New post new member so if its in the wrong place mods please move. Anyway I received my new watch with a A7750 movement I was able to adjust the time for the first few days (I hack my watches at the end of the day) But today I tried to set the crown at the 3rd position (Time setting) and it didn't engage it was stuck on the date on and kept moving the date. The movement seems to be working fine its just having trouble engaging the time adjustment. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I am planning to take it to a local watchsmith that works on a7750 but does anyone know if this is something I should consider sending back or if its a minor problem something misaligned maybe. I literally just got this thing yesterday feeling a little bummed.
webbo2005 0 Posted March 27, 2015 Hi, I have a similar problem, see here; http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=98646 What watch is it, and which TD did you use?
BadPickle 2,738 Posted March 27, 2015 Contact your TD with a view to sending it back, there's plenty of members here who have sent watches back with plenty of success.
JSJ 0 Posted March 28, 2015 Maybe it's between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock? If so, leave it to run until it's at 6 o'clock and try adjusting the time again. With luck, the date change mech will not be fouled up.
ptr 0 Posted March 29, 2015 Power Maxi, You were correct it as the date change i obviously just received the watch but i couldn't determine if it was AM or PM so it seems to be working fine now including the date function. I'm surprised i didn't seem to damage anything cause i was changing dates like no tommorow lol
