NCRich 13,714 Posted April 28, 2017 Just use the specs. High speed steel 1.3mm drill bit. They sell them everywhere. For example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-3mm-Drilling-Dia-Straight-Shank-Ti-Coated-HSS-Twist-Drill-Bit-38mm-Long-10pcs-/351882406453?hash=item51edd36a35:g:w2QAAOSw44BYczB4
NCRich 13,714 Posted April 28, 2017 AND you need a drill press, 700 rpm, and cutting fluid. Go slow.
BadPickle 2,657 Posted April 28, 2017 Is there a tutorial for drilling the lugs when they're not drilled through? Some way of lining the drill up with the spring bar holes on the inside of the lugs?
NCRich 13,714 Posted April 28, 2017 No. Only person I know who can do that is JMB and he has CNC equipment. I've got a couple of ruined cases that says I can't do it.
GenTLe 1,485 Posted April 28, 2017 1.25mm cobalt drill bit, and do NOT use Dremel, it is way too fast. Use an normal drill and lubricate the bit. I did mine with such tool and it was perfect.

What do you mean for "normale drill". With my dremel toosl I can change fast roation and I've altrady done work like that... Anyway, I have to find the proper drill bit.. BadPickle 2,657 Posted April 28, 2017 What size is the hole to begin with? I generally would work up sizes in small increments, 0.8 0.9 1.0 1.1 1.2 etc... easier to drill with less stress on the case

A cobalt bit 1.25mm is around 2,5Eur, so doable.

ado213 0 Posted May 31, 2017 If you get the bracelet to fit after you've drilled the case, I'd be amazed!!
GenTLe 1,485 Posted May 31, 2017 If you get the bracelet to fit after you've drilled the case, I'd be amazed!! No problem at all for me. I just had to drill also the springbar hole in the last link of the bracelet to fit the gen-like springbar :)
