My Hulk on Everest Rubber Strap! Pic heavy!

Recommended Posts

Kwt

After receiving my V6 Hulk from a recent M2M sale - I decided the bracelet still isn't good enough so I ordered an Everest Rubber Strap on deployment.

I decided on Everest rather then Rubber B as I heard they were a smidge more comfortable to wear plus their website was very easy to navigate with a lot of choice. I decided on the deployment as I didn't want the clasp to go to waste plus the glidelock would give me plenty of adjustment options should the rubber strap come up big. They also said it would be compatible with my gen GMT should I decide to change it.

I ordered the strap on Monday night and it turned up this morning which is pretty damn impressive to say the least but then I am paying the compulsory $20 for shipping.

The package just reeks of quality. You can tell that how they came from a kickstarter project beause of their love of Rolexes right down to the green envelope the whole thing comes in.

Enjoy the pics guys!

Very securely wrapped up lugs. I have scratched plenty in my time!

After a whopping 20 minutes finally got the damn bracelet off! A few choice words were spoken.

Attaching the glide lock (again took frigging ages to undo the stubborn screws)

The curved ends attached so easily to the watch. Perfect fit which is a testament to the rep.

Overall I am loving it so far. The green and black I think is a killer combo. The rubber does really feel high quality (I learned today that you can get reps of the rubber B strap, while I appreciate it's cheap not sure why you would bother) - don't get me wrong this is pretty pricey as straps go but you do get what you pay for. I heard this strap is sweat proof and smell proof and should last forever and definitely adds a different dimension to the watch.

Hope you enjoyed reading.

Great alternative.

Perlon strap can be considered too.

You don't see many alternatives for the Rolex bracelet. I like it.

I really like the black strap with green dial combo myself too!

Does the strap feel as comfortable as your good photos might suggest?

Yes the strap is super comfortable. Has the feeling that after a while you almost forget you are wearing it. I got so many watches on bracelet but none on rubber so it definitely breaks things up a bit. In a nut shell I love the Yachtmaster RG on rubber so just wanted to emulate the look.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Great choice of strap. I know of strong opponents to rubber on rollies but I'm a proponent!

Here's my GMT on rubber saying hi!

Mr.Amsterdam

I received a rubber strap from Robbie when ordering my gmt, so I replaced my absolutely crappy invicta strap (broke 4 times and ordered each time new one) with the rubber one.

My son (3) is wearing it now.

I'm tempted to buy a rubber like this for my submariner.

Does the ends of the rubber stay flush towards the case? Seems like it could be a gap there?

Hi I realised I didn't install the strap correctly so took a bit time with it and the gap that you are talking about has gone as it really flush now with the lugs.
