Monkey_Business 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Hey! This is my latest addition to the watchbox. Bought mostly for night-outs, as I'm not the kind of chap who would pull off wearing a golden watch to work. Overall satisfied, and Andrew would swear it's a genuine ETA inside. I'll take his word on it The only downside, and a huge one at that, is the links. They feel extremely light, and make an annoying sound. Feels VERY cheap, but not noticeable on the wrist. Huge turndown IMO. If it wasn't for the ETA inside, I'd not say it's worth the 330$ it craves from you Enjoy the pics - Packaging was great, and I did some quick comparison against the Noob V6s. PRO-PA-GAN-DA 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Nice catch! BP should really improve the feeling of their bracelets
WatchaholicMallorca 2 Posted January 16, 2017 Looks great, My BP daydate has the same feel, if the bracelet is slightly loose on the wrist it kinda rattles around, which like you says sounds cheap, but on wrist they are great. Going to get a TT Bluesy as a summer watch from BP soon enough
NCRich 13,744 Posted January 16, 2017 That's really gold. And I'm sure it genuinely has a movement inside. Looks sharp!
Monkey_Business 0 Posted January 16, 2017 Such as this? http://www.trustytimezone.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_7&products_id=15011 I believe you linked me to a review of this lately. I was stuck between the two of these That's really gold. And I'm sure it genuinely has a movement inside. Looks sharp! Yes, thanks - I love the combination of polished and brushed gold! Lagger 160 Posted January 16, 2017 I used to have the noob 21j model of that, so it was an older rep, till D Chico decided to keep it. I remember it being great quality, the feel and the gold plating......do noob still do one of these?
Monkey_Business 0 Posted January 16, 2017 I tried to find a noob version, but I failed. Maybe I just stink? Dunno. In my opinion, the dial and 2,5x mag is better on the BP than the V6s. I like the feel of the case/dial better on the BP, and the bracelet of the V6s better than the BP :P Maybe I should wear them both.. Simoltaniously

kevinisrad 0 Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Beautiful watch! I'm sure the gen costs quite a pretty penny, might be a lame question but what would you say if someone questioned you based on your watch? I'm sure i would definitely be shocked if someone had 30k on their wrist. Just curious as to what most of you guys use as your 'stories' for owning such an expensive watch, or if you just say it's a replica straight up. sogeha 6 Posted January 17, 2017 If anyone I don't know asks about my watch my answer when wearing a rep is "it's a fake mate", when wearing a gen my answer is "it's a fake mate". Monkey_Business 0 Posted January 18, 2017 Here, nobody knows what a "Rolex", "Omega" or anyhing is. Except a handful of people. A vast minority of the population. Even if someone were to ask (Has not happened yet, though I've been eyeballed two times at the airport) I'd just tell 'em
GenTLe 1,490 Posted January 18, 2017 Good luck with the BP and their "new ETA"... I know something about them... Seagull Asian ETA clones are way better.

Monkey_Business 0 Posted July 4, 2017 Hi mate. I'm being careful with it, but the bracelet scratches easily. It has quite a few deskdives and hairlines Other than that, still mint!
