str65 0 Posted July 19, 2017 (edited) I have been offered a Hulk that looks like its been eaten by a dog. The owner does not know if it is gen. Could you please comment. Thanks for your help! Edited July 19, 2017 by str65
str65 0 Posted July 19, 2017 Yes I will. So far I have seen the pics only. I don't have a tool, but I am planning on using a ball plus sticky tape. I hope it will do. What should I look in the movenent? The red wheel painted all the way including the teeth. Anything else to spot gen / rep movement? I have tried to google. Scottie 10 Posted July 21, 2017 If it's real a ball and or tape won't open it. Looks like the crown lines up. Don't think a gen would be beat thiz bad.
rawbaws 91 Posted July 21, 2017 The crown looks like somebody has tried to unscrew it with pliers
rawbaws 91 Posted July 21, 2017 By the way. I'm pretty sure I can just make out the grain on the inside of the bezel teeth. It looks to run horizontally. Gen is vertical.

philippe123 0 Posted July 23, 2017 For sure...............not a gen........... date says it all............. Do you see a black hole..........? Well duck in it......
Duzza 182 Posted July 23, 2017 Has potential to be gen IMO but would need a better photo. In any case buy the time you've bought the bracelet (assumed not included) and sent it to Rolex for a service (and weathered the bill of them replacing pretty much everything externally on this example bar the case. I wouldn't want to be paying much more than £3-4k for it.
k4jun 251 Posted July 24, 2017 sent it to Rolex for a service Out of curiosity, what will happen if this is a stolen watch? RSC will confiscate it, or they do not care ?
