Who doesn't enjoy side-by-side comparisons? I always wanted to see a Sub-C up against a Classic Sea Dweller. Enjoy the pics.. which one wins?

Easy peasy - the cyclops is what turns me off the Sub.

Sea-Dweller hits home for me in these pics. My eye goes to it first. Interesting, I have a TC Sub on the way and don't have a damn SD.................

Now that's a beadspread! I should pay more attention to spell check next time. The poll refers to the shwanky floral bedspread.

I've had the seadweller and really didn't like it. I think the lines on the sub-c are much better. Not to beat a dead horse but, the sub-c does come w/o a date. Then it's def. sub-c all the way.

BP sub ceramics, part for part are very accurate. The sum of the parts together as a timepiece leave a lot to be desired. The overall fit and finish isn't quite up to par, even though the SEL fitment is much better than the latest noob.

The 16600 was a watch I don't think anyone saw coming. Whether intentional or not, they pretty much nailed it. With TC having produced some 16600 dials and upgrading some other parts, the watch is a super rep to the nth degree.

No contest.

EVERYTHING just seems to be so damn' oversized/grown on the sub: The crown, the crownguards, the horns, the hour markers, the shiny ceramic bezel etc...: to me the sub is nothing but a contemporary 'more-moore-moooore'-watch whereas the SD is a beautifulexample of a less-is-more design.

Just my 0,02...

Strictly classic for me so the SD gets my vote. Don't like the ceramic, don't like the maxi- dial & thicker hands on sub-c.

I agree that the 16600 is a fine specimen. Right out of the box it is very accurate to gen. I have to say that I prefer the bracelet and clasp on the Sub-C. I don't think they are interchangeable, but if they were I would swap them out in a heartbeat!

That hard to do? I imagine the spacing between the lugs are more or less the same. Give it a go!

SD 100% - the sub looks over-grown, I personally have always preferred the SD strap and clasp to the subs but just my opinion, as a newbie :)
