greg_r 81 Posted December 1, 2008 This was a cheapie bought to hold me over while my VC went back to Josh to be fixed. There's a Breguet chrono that looks very much like this, but in this case the pushers are flush and the subdials just do day and date. It's 40mm in diameter and fairly deep, so wears a little bigger. The movement is the inevitable 21j and the two pushers adjust day and date subdials. The face looks white in the photos, but appears silver in normal light, the subdials having a slightly different guilloche pattern with a silver surrounding ring. The display back shows the movement, which is nicely finished, and the watch runs reliably with around 30 hours reserve. The strap it came on, however, appeared to be made out of cardboard, so it now lives on a watchbandcentre.com padded brown croco-print strap with deployant, which is very comfortable. It has to be said that this is one of those few watches I probably wouldn't buy if I was starting again - it's not that I dislike it, but it doesn't get much wrist time as I far prefer my VC or Rolex DeepSea if I want to wear a 'dressy' watch.
