MoveAlong 23 Posted July 24, 2016 Got this a few months ago, ended up going with Jomashop and it was a very smooth transaction, no issues whatsoever. Their price was really good and I didn't have any hesitation going the grey market route with this relatively inexpensive gen. This is now the king of the watch box... well, actually more like co-captains with the Astron! From what I've seen, the rep of this is fantastic. What I can tell you is that the gen is perfect in every way you would expect it to be. I mean, the case is straight out of the Rolex factory, and it shows. The 2824 is buttery smooth. The bracelet is flawless. The painted dial is a piece of art and the crown is a thing of beauty. Anyway, I snapped a few pics, so here you go. They're not the best I've ever done, but what the hell! Oh yeah, I highly recommend this, that's my "review"!
BenjaminButton 149 Posted July 24, 2016 Beautiful watch and great photos - must get my humble rep serviced.
ShovelnTC 31 Posted July 24, 2016 As much as I'd love the Gen I have been wearing my Rep for a few weeks now and every other watch that has been taken out of the watch box has lasted less than a day before I relent and go back to the Ranger. They are unassuming and low profile, light on the wrist and are, and look the perfect tool watch. You guys enjoy your Gens and I'll be enjoying my Rep, maybe a gen is on the horizon. BM284 1,505 Posted July 24, 2016 Nice pick up - though the reps are rather good, nothing beats the experience of opening the layers of the watch boxes to reveal the gen...and wearing it! Wear in the best of health
splke 4,244 Posted July 24, 2016 Nice bud love the feel of the gen from the box to the padding. Did you get a free camo nato or buy it extra? And do you want to sell it to me? :-)
Jagsman 20 Posted July 24, 2016 Gen loveliness, nothing quite beats it. Liking the camp nato too, but I think it will be hard to beat on the bracelet. Enjoy it!

MoveAlong 23 Posted July 24, 2016 Thanks guys! The camo nato is included with any bracelet/leather strap option you choose. I'm going to keep the nato. I hear it's a total bitch to get one, so sorry and good luck! Headed to the AD tomorrow to see about the tobacco leather strap.

MoveAlong 23 Posted July 30, 2016 Well, the AD was able to get this in super quick and I put it together today. This is my first leather strap on deployant - it's freaking brilliant! Some pics including a few for those that might be interested in stock/part numbers for their own Rangers. Strap and clasp sold separately. I think I remember someone here trying to get a camo NATO from their AD for a rep and it was difficult because the AD said they needed a serial number before any strap could be ordered from Tudor? No such problem at my AD. No serial number needed or asked for, so YMMV. However, I was wearing the Ranger at the time for them to see. For reference, my wrist is 6.5 inches and the strap is adjusted on the next to last hole, so almost as short as this strap can get. It is very comfortable already. Can't wait until it's broken in. Have to say right now, between the bracelet, camo NATO, and leather strap, that this is my favorite on the Ranger and I highly recommend it.
