Pehenley 0 Posted August 1, 2015 Hi everyone, This is my first post. I recently purchased a skyfall omega planet ocean replica off Ali express. It's my first replica and I love the watch. The only problem is that the movement stops randomly and won't start back up without some help from me. The second hand always gets stuck around the 6 o'clock position. If I pulls the crown in and out it looks like it 'dislodges' something and continues to tick. I can also get it un stuck and continue to tick if I give the crystal a few good taps. I'd rather not buy another replica and fix this one. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? Thanks!
Gazzla 23 Posted August 1, 2015 You need to get yourself some tools mate . . .
Foxindebox 464 Posted August 1, 2015 Sounds like the seconds hand is touching the crystal. You will need to pop the movement out of e case and make sure the seconds hand is seated properly and isn't bent. It's not as difficult as it sounds, you will need a sticky ball or case opener, a screwdriver, a hand removal tool and steady hands. If you search, there is bound to be a tutorial. Good luck

Pehenley 0 Posted August 21, 2015 Foxindebox you were right. I opened it up and pressed the second hand in firm. Works like a charm now. Thanks!
Left Coast Guy 24 Posted August 21, 2015 Foxindebox you were right. I opened it up and pressed the second hand in firm. Works like a charm now. Thanks! You were lucky then, those POs have very little clearance between the dial and indicies for the hands to move, so its quite a trick getting them to all fit and move smoothly. Some of our forum watchsmiths have even commented on how much of a nuisance those things can be....
