baxter 6 Posted April 8, 2013 I have been deliberating over one of these for the best part of a year now and every time a Decent swiss V2 comes up M2M i miss it. I took a bit of a chance on this one as the guy wouldn't do paypal ( bank wire only ) and was new over on the geek. It seemed no one else would take the risk ( understandably ) I had a few pm's with him and got the feeling he was ok he provided me with all the info he could on the rubber and clasp and even posted it before the bank wire had gone through - i guess we both had a good enough feeling about each other. I absolutely love this watch and so glad i finally got one in the collection, it's an iconic beauty !! Specs : Swiss V2 Gen clasp gen Rubber Pbdad relume. Distinct 0 Posted April 8, 2013 After seeing your clasp, I can tell that mine isn't as nice. The engraving of the seahorse and lettering is much deeper on the genuine compared to the replica. The rep clasp is not bad but the gen has got a mechanism which is missing in the rep and just feels generally more sturdy. The rep rubber i have to say is very good. I have both the gen white and black dial Ploprofs and was thinking about picking this very same watch up for my little cousin who loves the look of my Ploprof. Just could not get pass the sellers' s lack of history and paypal unavailability. The price was outstanding for the watch since it came with the gen buckle and strap which would set you back $600 anyways so essentially you got a V2 modded Ploprof for FREE !! Congrats and wear it well. I've got lots of gens and still wear my Ploprofs more than anything else. Just a killer watch and so unique. Paid in euro but equal to $630.00 which i though was not bad for a swiss V2 with gen rubber + clasp with pbdad lume and rep rubber and clasp thrown in. I would have paid around 430 incl pp and delivery from a TD so $ 200.00 for the gen clasp and rubber + lume seems good Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My bad, to clarify, I have a V2 and that clasp is either a V1 or a V1.5. The V2 expensive version has that clasp.
