Jaeger Lecoultre tourbillon review (WI long overdue review)

Recommended Posts

roie16

Hi,

Almost a year ago I joined this awesome forum and was introduced to the Replica business.

Back then I bought two watched:

The first from Andrew (Trusty Time) a Tag Heuer Carrera for everyday use,

The second is a JL from Rochest( who was still a trusted dealer back then) as an evening watch and as I can't put the review in the WI feedback anymore, I will review it here.

The transaction itself went very smooth and I received the watch within three weeks from clearing the payment (628 $,paid via WU).

The watch is a Jaeger Lecoultre tourbillon RG with a light silvery~offwhite dial

The tourbillon itself is a Hangzhou 3301(more details can be found here: http://www.rwg.bz/bo...showtopic=36615 )

Well after a year of use I can say this was a really good purchase,

The watch itself is almost perfect (other than a really small ink problem in the 'u' letter witch I am sure the sharps eye's users here will see).

The watch time accuracy is very good, the spring didn't gave me any issue, and for about 3-4 spins I am getting 7-8 hours of use,

I have no Idea if it good or not, but it is good enough for me, the bezel Rose gold is magnificent! The side is well decorated and well like I said I am very pleased about this watch even after a year of use (not intensive use, but still I wear it almost every week…)

Well, enough from me, here are some pics:

:offtopic:

The shirt for those of you that cares was tailored in Thailand from the well-known rajawongse clothier, website: http://www.dress-for-success.com/, and if it is good enough for g.w bush it should be good enough for you :groucho: … so If you go to Bangkok make sure to pay them a visit

And one last picture of this fine watch with a very-very fine whiskey (Glenmorangie signet) witch I would recommend to anyone who has yet to drink from a bottle it will go f***ing :nana: :nana:

I read your review and I think it is an excellent review.

In the future please try to take a better picture of the watch.

By the way this is a Beautiful watch!

Thank you very much I'm considering to buy a watch like this.

I am really concerned because I promised myself that I'd stick with a TD when I started researching this. But I really want a JLC, preferably a tourbillon, and WI (Mary and Roch) have several people posting amazing reviews of their JLC tourbillons. Seems like quite a risk to go with them, but with possibly high rewards. Does anyone know if they are still good in 2015, despite non-TD status and quite a few negative reviews on the net?

Hey, there's a big ass hole in the dial mate!

J/k, very nice review and the tourbillion is a mean feat of watch engineering. Enjoy!

You'll find most TD's here are able to source it for you. Going with a a non-Trusted dealer means that you won't have any protection from the board moderators in case things go wrong.

Nice review... but hey; I would never accept that dial flaw in the letter U, it ruins the whole watch because you see it immidiatly

Yes, that tiny flaw glares out like obvious spelling mistakes in a post I suppose.

Not a TD on here! Also not really a good rep sorry to say :) Its light and feels like a cheap 50 dollar watch!
