PAM388 - My first Rep - Pic Heavy

Recommended Posts

trojjan

Bought my 1st PAM388 rep from Kuvarsit. Many thanks to Gaz and Ale for their reviews. My next watch is the IWC 3717.

The pics don't do the watch any justice. It's a different experience when you have it on your wrist.

Yeah, just a tad bit. I never fully wound the date wheel before. I just wound the date all around and it aligns fine now. Hopefully it remains that way on its own.

Yeah, i took your advice on getting the burgundy strap from Panatime. Unfortunately the one I received cracked. You can see the cracks in the leather at the periphery of the watch. They were nice enough to send me a replacement, which should be here tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Thanks for putting that monstrous review together. Without it, I wouldn't have made a well informed decision.

Looks fantastic.....which burgundy panatime strap did you go for? ..if you could help suggest. I've a pam520 incoming and would like to pair it up with something similar to the leather on you 388.

Thanks

im in love!! 45mm is just too small for my wrist. I like the silver because it wont chip like the gold will but I think i'll just have to pull the trigger on a PAM 439. Its 42mm and I think thats the smallest Panerai i'm going to find.

I think the simplicity of the rad design and burgundy strap with the fantastic orange cracks/veins on the strap is amazing.

Need to get me some of that!!
