wqleow 1 Posted December 19, 2013 Just in time for Christmas! Hont (TD at RWI) sent me the long awaited AP RO 15400. This is the version touted as 1:1, but I really don't care even if it's not. Because it looks great! It's got a A2824 movement and costed me $420. A few quick comments: 1) Bracelet was easy to resize. 2) Bracelet feels rough when you run your fingers on the surface but wears well. My wrists doesn't feel sore or scratched up. 3) Clasp is solid! No issues as mentioned with the previous BP factory version. 4) Crown is a bit stiff but I'm sure with use it'll loosen up. Hopefully I won't see any thread stripping issues. 5) Date wheel font does seem a bit off. Will post some pics later. But otherwise everything is good! The GG design is really nice. Masculine, with sporty and dressy undertones. This is perfect for guys with small wrists (I have 6.5" wrists). With this, I can sell off my AP Diver soon! Just a quick picture taken while on the way to work. Will upload my photos of my watch camwhoring throughout the day.

wqleow 1 Posted December 19, 2013 Here are some more pictures. Do pardon the iPhone quality. I have no better camera nor photography skills to speak of. The clasp is well made with deeply engraved AP. There's some dirt on my clasp at the base of the AP words. Time for bracelet bath! I really like the engraving of audemars piguet on the inside of the clasp. It's got silver characters on a grey background.
wqleow 1 Posted December 19, 2013 The crystal case back is nice to look at. Great rotor. Enough has been said about this. Not sure if the serial number is running. Mine says H 59098.
wqleow 1 Posted December 19, 2013 The issue with the date wheel font is mainly the discrepancy between the numbers 20 and 21, as well as 30 and 31. Numbers 20 and 30 are significantly smaller than 21 and 31. While it doesn't seem like much on it's own. It's accentuated when you run through the dates. cubicle_monkey 0 Posted December 19, 2013 Do you mind taking a picture of it on with your arm extended? I want to see what the bracelet flair looks like on a smaller wrist. On some watches, the desgin of the lugs prevents the strap from making contact with your skin unless you have really flat arms or a really large wrist. For some reason, that space bugs the hell out of me and I refuse to wear a watch because of it.
