Who did you buy it from?
scheersmarc 0 Posted September 20, 2010 Apart from sending it to NASA for them to xray There is no way without taking the back off Where did you buy it and what did the description say? I bought it in Holland by Internet for 250 euro. Seller said this was AAA replica, difficult to find, and hard to detect it is a replica.

greg_r 81 Posted September 20, 2010 no way to tell from that, but not being a recognised dealer all bets are off. We'd need a photo of the movement to tell.

Do you have the name of the seller?...there're a few sellers on Marktplaats that sell similar watches like the ones we can get via the forums...although they're more expensive on Marktplaats.nl Chances are that it is in fact swiss....but most likely an Asian 2836 Only way of knowing for sure is to take the caseback off and take a close up photo of the movement.
