Roivster 0 Posted March 29, 2015 Hi everybody. Received my blue Milgauss from Josh last week. Great watch, but that terrible green AR coating just drove me crazy. I just had to doe something about it, popped the crystal and polish it with scratch remover and a Dremel for 80 minutes… Got all the AR off and the crystal became nice an clear, coated the edge with Vitrea 160 Emerald brilliant glossy and baked it in the oven. Then I put on a finishing clear coat on top. And the result is amazing, shiny green edge and one can see the blue dial clearly, no more reflecting green AR. Hope you enjoy these photos. http://s1298.photobu...html?sort=6&o=0 http://s1298.photobu...html?sort=6&o=1 http://s1298.photobu...html?sort=6&o=7 http://s1298.photobu...html?sort=6&o=

Rocky104 0 Posted February 8, 2016 That is one beautiful milgauss. That's the only issue that's keeping me from purchasing one. Wish I had the press and knowledge of doing this mod myswlf! :/
zai2289 0 Posted February 11, 2016 Just bought this watch from M2M, can't wait to receive it! Gonna wait to see how it looks in real life as the green on the pics look a little dull (as you would expect). May definitely have to try this mod - thanks for the tip

TheoG 0 Posted February 12, 2016 Still good my man. I actually sold this a few months ago. The buyer was crazy happy with it. And i now regret selling it

GenTLe 1,509 Posted February 14, 2016 There is a thing I don't get about this mod... The gen crystal is green, and the rep has a green tint due to the AR. Removing the AR, unless you spray paint also the inside of the crystal with some very transparent green glass pain, makes it less gen-like. So why this mod? JJayet 0 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Nice mod, what is the brand name of the orange strap? I've seen a lot of them lately. Edited February 23, 2016 by JJayet

I have the same question I am planning to do this mod next week. What looks more gen, with or without the AR? The gen has a green crystal so has green tinted sides but no AR the rep makers for some reason put the green tint on the top of the crystal which is wrong to the gen but actually looks really good...
