chase0224 0 Posted April 27, 2015 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give any insight on the reliability of the A7750 movement in the current Nautilus 5980 chrono reps. Does this watch suffer the same fate as the @ 6 daytona reps?
Daywatch 4 Posted April 27, 2015 Totally reliable this one, minute and hour counter are faux (great trick). What the chronopushers do, is to start and stop the main seconds hand, so you can always chronograph 60 seconds. It´s still a beautiful watch and at least it will work. Retina 0 Posted April 28, 2015 follow the simple rules to extend the life as much as you can: 1. use a winder 2. If you dont have a winder, disengage the watch on time setting mode while its at rest 3. wind it manually enough to kick start the movement and let the automatic do its magic 4. reset chronos only when sec hand is 0-10 and 50-60 secs

I don't get how people can think that it's good for your watch to have it at full wind all the time. The issues with the a7750 movements are because of modifications to sec@6 or sec@12. This Patek doesn't have running seconds so it doesn't have any of these issues.
