dave47 6,570 Posted May 13, 2015 Tuesday sees the newly arrived watch from aliexpress -- this Tissot PRC 200 chronograph w/ ETA 10.211 quartz movement. The chronograph is a replacement of the old I sold years ago and instantly had seller's remorse. This one's better, though.. dave:
UmpaHimself 223 Posted May 13, 2015 Morning Mid-Day Afternoon You have a nuts collection my friend. I know you have a system so you don't have to choose but I still don't envy looking in that box (or boxes) every day. I think I would get a headache!

cogwatch 1 Posted May 13, 2015 Morning Mid-Day Afternoon You have a nuts collection my friend. I know you have a system so you don't have to choose but I still don't envy looking in that box (or boxes) every day. I think I would get a headache! Hey Umpa. I love looking in the boxes!! I do open them often just to gaze. And the above 3 eclectic collection for today are actually a pretty good representation of the wide variety I have so it's not looking at a bunch of watches that are a small variation on a couple of themes. As you can see in the pattern above, I'm wearing 3 a day. I put one on in the morning and take 2 others to work. I found with one watch per day I wasn't seeing a watch again for 4+ months, so I started with 2 a day a couple of months ago. But that still made it more than 2 months before I wore a watch again. So a couple of weeks ago I started on 3 a day. That gets it down to about a month and a half for a watch to come around again For me, it's really fun to change it up so much. No chance of getting bored that's for sure!!
PeterPC 0 Posted May 13, 2015 Had the above watch on for the morning..........have now slipped this one on for the afternoon Come sundown, going to move to the following................ None of these have had much wrist time and were getting dusty in the drawer. A couple of Ploprof's (1 x white and 1 x black) and a few old Seiko's have been dominating the wrist of late. Now looking to work out if my passion for PAM's is genuine or was just a fleeting obsession at their time of purchase. But thoroughly enjoying them today. Having a crap day at work, too, so playing with my toys has been a wonderful distraction and the only thing currently bringing a smile to my face. This is watch collecting as therapy. UmpaHimself 223 Posted May 13, 2015 No chance of getting bored that's for sure!! That's the truth! See, for me I pick the watch first and then pick my clothes out around that but sometimes I switch during the day.
